Under experts advice you will discover the brewery specialties of the local brewery Störtebeker.

 

Original brew specialties with the best ingredients, proper character and the typical northern authenticity are the stand out factors of the Störtebeker Brewery.

 Therefor the owners from Stralsund won prices already, nationally and internationally. As example in 2014 they won the World Beer Cup for a dark wheat beer.

 Come sail and try the fine beer specialties on board.

2. Maritime Stories

Discover the Hanseatic City of Stralsund and their region during the sail.

 

There will be lots of information about the town history as well as about the region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Island Ruegen – and maybe some cock-and-bull telling as well. All in all, an entertaining sail presented by a professional guide.

3. Day Trip to the Island "Hiddensee"

You want to sail with "Berta von Lassan" an entire day and discover the surrounding islands of Stralsund? Then this is the perfect trip for you!

 

You will be sailing pass the west coast of Ruegen which is the biggest island of Germany.

 

Afterwards you will be reaching the Island Hiddensee which is included in the national park of Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft. Therefore you will find one of the last preserved natural landscapes of Central Europe.

This car free island will inspire you and might even cast a spell on you – it has amazing scenery - despite the season.


On board there will be a free-alcoholic drink and a snack included. You will have about an hour on the Island of Hiddensee, in agreement with the crew. 

"Berta von Lassan" was built 1910 and was until 1953 the last active freighters of Germany without additional motor.
